Cockroaches are No Match for Our Exterminators

Nobody wants to find cockroaches living in or around their home. Not only are they creepy, but they can also spread bacteria and multiply into a full-blown infestation very quickly.

Fortunately, our team of pest control technicians is very familiar with the types of cockroaches we deal with in Southern California, where they like to nest, and their habits. We can quickly find any nests, potential entry points around your home or business, and eliminate the issue quickly and safely. Reach out to Bugs A to Z today to schedule your service and get your customized treatment plan.

‍

About Our Cockroach Treatments

We treat cockroach-infested areas with a liquid residual product, an insect growth regulator, and a knockdown agent.

We ask that the customer remove items from inside cabinets and drawers. We follow up 7-10 days later and apply cockroach bait gel to the cracks and crevices of infested areas.

German cockroaches do not survive outside.

‍

Are Cockroaches Dangerous?

While cockroaches are not considered dangerous in terms of biting, they do frequent some dirty places including sewers, garbage, and dead animals. Because of that, they commonly transfer bacteria to surfaces that they crawl on. When they make their way into your home, it’s not uncommon to find them in the kitchen where they will contaminate food, utensils, plates, and surfaces. Additionally, a small number of cockroaches can turn into an infestation very quickly.

The best thing to do when you see a cockroach or see signs that you may have roaches is to call Bugs A to Z. Our team will come to your home or business, perform a thorough inspection, and exterminate the cockroaches quickly.

Common Cockroaches In Southern California

In Southern California, we see a wide variety of cockroaches but the most common are:

German Cockroach: German cockroaches are found in residential and commercial kitchens and bathrooms. They’re bought in from package deliveries or items purchased from an infested source. Cockroaches prefer areas like the family room and kitchen due to the room’s moisture, food, and warmth.

American Cockroach: American cockroaches are mostly found outside however they enter structures from underneath doors, crawl spaces, and through plumbing pipes where the drywall is broken. In some cases, if a home has been unused for several weeks or months, the cockroaches will enter through floor drains where pipes have dried up from not being used.

Oriental Cockroach: Oriental cockroaches or water bugs are found outside around planters, edges of lawns, and moist areas of the perimeter.
